I know I am underpaid. I know I am underappreciated. I know I am kept out of the loop for many things in the place I work at. But even so, I am not putting our customer's data into any cloud or somebody else's infra. Nuh-uh. No trust - no business. I will die on that hill. image Context of this is that Grafana OnCall is moved to maintenance mode in favour of their cloud IRM solution - and next year, OnCall will be archived/EOL'd. Since we use Grafana and OnCall heavily to monitor customer infrastructure top to bottom with clients and SNMP pullers, we have a crapton of data...yes, even the individual clients. I am /not/ putting this anywhere else but on-premise. And since I am the only guy that CAN manage the OnCall and Grafana installation, I am going to be the noodle making a decision - even if somebody else over there is probably already gawking at some other cloud solution with wet pants. I have my principles - and I intend to stick to them. Fuck the cloud. With a big, massive, dick.
If this can't teach you Linux initrd, then iunno what can. XD
Nothing beats a good lunch break with some J-EDM and a Monster. What y'all up to? ^^
#asknostr #nostrdev So what happened to Git on Nostr? Are we storing repo blobs in #blossom yet? Do we have free, decentralized repositories yet? Could emulator developers harassed by big corps dump their source into Nostr and send them companies chasing thousands of JSON blobs for decades?

People voted for that. Like, /actually/. Even if it was just one binary braincell deciding to tick a box, a whole lot of people did. The next four years are... gonna be spicy, dicey and painful. Thanks, braincells... View quoted note β†’
I saw that on Reddit on r/golang and was like, "nah, probably not real. JS people stick to their flock." Well I just refreshed youtube, guess what I saw: Well fuck me sideways. This could /actually/ change everything even for htmx and friends o_o JavaScript developers tend to follow a certain trend. Could you imagine some tools like Tailwind getting a Go port? I certainly wouldn't mind. o.o Though, I doubt it'd happen... still, this is really neat.
All the UIs listed here are shit. x.x Back to docker-compose I go, I guess. Damn...thought things would have gone further than that?
yep, even on Windows, I get the macOS traffic lights. What you see in the screenshots is literally exactly what you get. xD What the heeeeeeeeck... https://jellybox.com/ Oh also, not open source - it just uses open source things. eh... o.o'
I can run LLMs just fine, even found my favorite tools and setup. But image gen... x.x ugh. It feels like it ran along the AI hypetrain, then stumbled, fell, slid a kilometer face first, and stopped. o.o... Hopefully the AI bros in this world will give me ollama for image-gen models and CherryStudio for image-gen workspaces some day...
