A traditional "Trønderlån" style solid log farmhouse built ca. 1800, from the Trøndelag region of Norway. Initially a farmhouse, then accommodation for military officers, then parochial house etc. Now restored to a 19th c. exterior and 1950s interior. Two stories with attic space, at 168m² (1814ft²) footprint on natural stone foundation. The log timber is horizontal and the wooden cladding is vertical. These houses are durable and easily modified, impervious against earthquakes or storms and exceedingly charming.
