Progressives have been on a one hundred year long quest to suppress traditional architecture, to ridicule its defenders, to make the practice of it impractical and illegal. Academia has been captured and fundamentally altered for ever to cater to modernist ideology. All schools everywhere now teach nothing but modernism ideology. There is no freedom of speech or thought or expression: it has been wiped out, or where the physical object itself is too large or conspicuous, mothballed and quarantined in layers of ordinances and red-tape. Don't come to us and say that we are the authoritarian, the unreasonable and the irrational. YOU, the architect, the planner, the politician: YOU are the authoritarian tyrant ignoring the people at best and attacking them at worst, in perfect stochastic terrorism. YOU are not the plucky rebel against a hoary tradition. Have some dignity. Step back. Repent. Posterity will judge you harshly for what you have done to our cities and homes.
