The only way we can counter the centrifugal effects of the modern world is to band together, in any small way possible: β€œWe’re at one of the schools that is doing that 'social media-free' childhood where the parents mostly all do the same thing.” It would take heroic levels of willpower for a single family to make a stand, but if the entire school, neighborhood or city is in on it, it becomes the easiest thing in the world. And children (in this case) understands and respect this. They want fairness and justice above all. https://hell.twtr.plus/media/61459cded9c0e91bfbd00bd71ff1d34e779764beef8ccb126db0ce1d2fab3bbb.file https://hell.twtr.plus/media/11a27723aeae9b2b577d9f2d49caf2812320a3096653ad138dfd305623296c62.file

This Swedish building has elaborate wall anchors. These are attached to both ends of the floor joists and go through the masonry wall and are tightened to keep the floors from pushing the walls apart. You can see exactly where the floor level is. https://hell.twtr.plus/media/629b65dde4836e12b9055906dfcb8225e1847886edf0834a6b5824b11a76badf.file https://hell.twtr.plus/media/5e981ed975e666ba62f2a2f7f91266949c62826398a1936d9c7677e89ed6e160.file https://hell.twtr.plus/media/a4b9ccea4a1d88d0ea79663b0222792e1bdbc300baf56e347897acead06d4551.file
Thick stone, wood and earth homes store heat during the day and release it during the night. The interiors stay cooler, but don't expect any praise from the environmental lobby and the technocrats.
