The “focus project” that been sending “pro-Israeli talking points” throughout 17 months of genocide is suddenly sending pro-demonstration talking points. At the same time, Israel continues to bomb (& issuing forced displacement orders to) the very cities & towns those protests are taking place in, while Netanyahu made clear that even if those protests press Hamas to surrender & disarm, he will still occupy Gaza & implement “Trump’s plan” to kick everyone there out Israel & those Israeli/pro-Israeli orgs NEVER cared about those protests & don’t care if the protests succeed or not, they’re only interested in the optics of those demonstrations to amplify such footage & focus all media coverage on it, so they can buy time for & eacalate the genocide under the radar, while blaming Palestinians for their own demise

Last week, Odai Al-Rubai (22) was tortured to death by militants affiliated with Hamas, who then claimed (without presenting evidence) that he was a collaborator. Murders are taking place under the radar. This is precisely why Israel has been systematically killing policemen, first responders, humanitarian workers, social workers, municipality workers, doctors... to collapse law & order This is exactly why Israel is creating conditions for famine & the spread of diseases in Gaza; to sow chaos This is exactly why Israel has been reaching out to families & clans in Gaza & pinning them against each other; it's why they've been arming criminals & gangs, & recruiting collaborators & spies at gunpoint; to fully collapse Gaza as a society Gaza had come along way from those dark days of lawlessness that was so endemic when Israel was running the enclave

My phone didn't stop ringing; journalists asking about the protests.
