This is a brilliant example that highlights how normies in anime culture get things wrong, because they do not understand how good character design is done (in this example of Denji from Chainsawman.) Their flaws are easily reflected in the life and history they lived. The problem with normies in this space is that they project themselves into the shoes of the character, and completely disregard what they went through.
