Let's put something in perspective: Even at $30/lb, coffee is still cheaper, brewed cup for poured cup, than a can of coke. Definitely so in Canada. Yes, the cost of entry into good coffee is there (like $200 for a good grinder, $100 or so for your pour over setup), but amortize that cost over a 1 or 2 year period, and its pennies per cup.

#NCP Once again, news media in Canada suffered a massive blow because of corporate greed. Greed from Bell Media, who should have never been allowed to buy these stations. Greed from Facebook / Meta / Google for gobbling up the vast majority of ad revenue in Canada and not returning a dime. Massive layoffs today, and shuttering of various news outlets. If you spend any advertising money with Meta/Goog, please reconsider. It has long reaching negative effects beyond just getting you a few useless eyeballs. David Eby, the Premier (like a US Governor) of British Columbia ripped into Bell Media today. (he should have also gone after Meta/Goog) #CanPoli #news #media #meta

I do love it when a plan comes together. Here's the final sketch I did about 10 days ago for the layout of the front page of our new 2024 build of CoffeeGeek.com. And here's the screen cap of how that build looks this evening. Next up is completing the new template for our blog section (3rd sketch :)). Almost there.
