There is one machine I am CHOMPING AT THE BIT to include on our Best Budget Espresso Machines for 2024 list. Problem is, it's not available yet in N. America (though that will change soon). Its the new 2024 version of the venerable Gaggia Espresso! Gaggia completely overhauled this machine - it's now a PID controlled thermoblock design - and it should be $250 or less in the USA when it arrives. cc @npub1jcn4...gw7e #espressomachines #espresso Check out Coffee Kev's take:
It's here. The first in our Feature Guides section on CoffeeGeek. The Best Budget Espresso Machines for 2024. Eight selections, all based on testing, reviews, and ownership by CoffeeGeek staff. Check it out! cc @npub1jcn4...gw7e #espresso #espressomachines
Heads up #espresso heads in the USA. If you ever thought about getting a Gaggia Classic Evo Pro (and, I dunno, using your geek brain to upgrade it to the equiv of a $4,000 machine with the Gagguino upgrades), Whole Latte Love has it on SALE right now for $399 USD. That's a historical low price for the Gaggia Classic. (not a paid endorsement). cc @npub1jcn4...gw7e
#NCP Holy cow! Major #F1 news. The 'fookin' guy' at Haas has been fired. Gunther Steiner, who became mega famous because of the Netflix series on F1, was let go by Haas racing. I did not see that coming. Then again, I've seen interviews with Gene Haas in the past, and he's a very ego driven guy (though not nearly as bad as Papa Stroll) I could see him being jealous of Gunther's fame.
