Kind of silly but I added support for the Wii's AES engine to #NetBSD today. The Wi-Fi stack can use it along with the cryptographic disk driver cgd(4). A quick test of cgd(4) on a USB flash drive in AES-128-CBC mode shows 4.4 MB/s with the software implementation and 15 MB/s with hardware acceleration.
