⚡🇫🇷 NEW - “I heard screams.” A man was tied up and kidnapped yesterday in Saint-Léger-sous-Cholet, in the Maine-et-Loire department. At around 8:30 a.m., several hooded individuals arrived at the home of the victim, a 43-year-old man who works as a software engineer. The individuals forced their way into the home and reportedly tied up the victim before abducting him. A neighbor reported hearing screams during the abduction. The man was released early in the morning in Basse-Goulaine, a town south of Nantes located about 50 kilometers from the scene of the kidnapping. There is no information at this time on the amount of money the criminals may have stolen, but there is no doubt that they were seeking to get their hands on the victim's cryptocurrencies. The suspects are being actively sought by investigators from the Rennes Interregional Specialized Court (JIRS).
