The Verge thinks it’s time to retire the word podcast as the majority of shows are locked into ecosystems like Spotify or are videos hosted on YouTube. I say it’s time to reclaim podcast as a term that means an easily downloadable non-DRM audio file. Audio Interface shows are podcasts.
