I started migrating my services out of cloudflare and I realized that somehow I lost the source code to the project that I use to tell me my public ip address. Now I am rewriting it in #rust It is in a usable state and feature parity with the current one that is deployed. Now I just need to figure the deployment bit.

RedHat planning to bring #AI into #linux, wait until they add a systemd-gpt and we are all doomed. I love #fedora, and it is IMO the best distro for the desktop, things just work out of the box, but I’m willing to daily drive #debian if they don’t make this AI shit optional.

Thought: why can't we have a #mastodon compatible app that only shows media posts in an "instagram" format? I don't get why we need pixelfed to be a different service. Can't we build apps as layers on top of mastodon?
