anyone know what's this flower? ๐Ÿค“
Playing around in the terminal last night, I feel I just started to learn how to really use the computer. ๐Ÿคฏ If you also want to learn about GPG, the best thing you can do is not use any tools but start right from the terminal - all the tools bring more convenience but also take away some of the important leanings! I prefer taking baby steps, learning things one by one instead of skipping, and then later taking advantage of the tools. Otherwise, there would be many missing pieces to pick up later on if you don't have a solid foundation. The same in Bitcoin - many people skip learning how to protect and restore the seeds due to the liking of convenience, but hey, not your keys, not your coins! The better direction is to learn how to self-custody first and then figure out how to take advantage of the custodial wallets instead of depending on them.
Learning and creating bring deep happiness, yet consuming brings shallow happiness and is mostly short-lived. Many people keep consuming all day yet thinking why are they still unhappy? Because you've been lied to and trained to chase the engineered desires, which are unlimited - there will ALWAYS be something new, and whoever gets to control those gets to control you.
Running your own bank is an ongoing journey - once you have figured out how to do simple deposits ( receive ) and withdrawals ( send ), decide how you would like to save your vault in cold wallets and spend with LN wallets ( with swap in and out in between ) then you also need to think how to be better equipped to deal with emergencies, and continually improving the operation: - do better labels - do better coin control - do better fee management - do better UTXO planning And the most important part: learn how to protect your seeds and how to restore them in different situations, from a simple cold wallet to nodes with different types of seeds - as long as you keep the seeds well, your Bitcoin NEVER leaves you. ๐Ÿงก
Cleaning up some old UTXO today, the lesson is ALWAYS remember to add labels for any onchain transactions, your future self will really thank you for that. And for the ones that you don't remember, use the LN washing machine is the way. ๐Ÿ‘€ https://blog.geoarbitrage.com/swapping/
One of the best things I have learned as a female nomad is that I plan my activities according to my circles, not some outside calendar or holidays. And you'd be amazed how productive you are if you plan things according to your own energy level instead of some outside calendars - your body isn't designed to work like a robot five days a week and from 9 to 5; you are a living human being with rhythms: when tired, you take a break; when full of energy, you do things! So simple. I don't know how things work with men, but one tip I can give is to pay more attention to your partners, especially say/do less stupid things during certain times:) ๐Ÿ‘€
The path to regaining freedom is waking up from the illusion of security/safety and taking things back into your own hands, from as simple as verifying software to safeguarding your own money.
Do you know that modern medicine is not meant to cure you but only to keep you alive so that you can keep paying? Shitcoins are exactly the same as modern medicine, with all the complicated names and "fancy solutions" but without actually solving the root cause.
Being a Bitcoiner means you finally realized all the things that claim to "help" but actually to enslave you. The whole system is built by people who thrive on human miseries, wake up.
People ruin nature for fiat money that is printed out of thin air. People sell their bodies for fiat money that is printed out of thin air. People scam others for fiat money that is printed out of thin air. ... Good and honest people got hurt the most because they are not "good at" playing this rotted game, but now you can opt-out with Bitcoin and live a peaceful life: discover your own unique potential, and focus on your crafts.
