The evolution of the Fediverse is hard to predict – there are parts of it that we can’t imagine, just as, in the days of the early web, I could never have imagined something like Google search – or Github, or a webcomic ike XKCD. The system will emerge organically, and I can’t predict what other wonderful things will be built on top of it. With Solid, with AI, with Bluesky, Matrix and Mastodon, with RSS and a podcasting revival
