I'm so proud of Mastodon for realizing the need for official/trusted hosting, and now providing that to help sustain their operations.
They could have taken VC funding, introduced ads or built a paid verification badge system.
Instead they chose the ethical route, and we should be so thankful for that.
Kudos to @Eugen Rochko and the rest of the team, you're a huge inspiration to the rest of the fediverse ❤️
