Bitcoin Genesis Day is January 3, 2009 — the day Bitcoin was born.
On that day, Bitcoin’s creator Satoshi Nakamoto mined the very first block on the Bitcoin network, called the Genesis Block. This officially launched Bitcoin and made the network operational for the first time.
