A number of news organizations, including right-wing outlets Fox News and Newsmax, have signed a letter urging the Trump administration to lift the ban on the Associated Press from attending White House events because of their refusal to use “Gulf of America” in place of “Gulf of Mexico.” “We fear a future administration may not like something Newsmax writes and seek to ban us.
