My wife’s grandmother gave her this heirloom Christmas cactus over 40 years ago. It was in a terra cotta pot that it had outgrown, but still bloomed dependably every year. I usually have a green thumb, so my wife trusted me to put it in a ‘nicer’ home. After repotting it two years ago, it failed to bloom last year.
