Was summer camp primarily a Jewish thing or just a wealthy thing? I love the stories of people who did summer camp. Sounds amazing. I never did it. It was never offered as an option. I was happy to have my public pool season tag. Went there every day. 12-5pm. Rode my bike. No money for the snack stand either. Just happy to be there. What I got was a mission trip to Colombia in 1981 to do construction for three months. I was 14. Lots of laughs those missionaries. Fucking laugh riot.

I have a hard time accepting the criticism of the media for “not calling out Trump’s cognitive decline” because I don’t think he was ever smart or sharp in the first place. Just because you’re catching up that he’s an idiot doesn’t make it news. I’d be happier if the media reported on the fact that he’s grossly unqualified to be president because he’s dumber than a box of rocks and a total sociopath. Dementia has fuck all to do with it.
