I can’t help it that Dennis Quaid endorsing Trump makes me question his humanity. I can’t get past it. “He stands up to people,” said the actor. What the fuck does that mean and how does that promote democracy, peace and prosperity. He’s a disruptive clown. The Quaids are dead to me. Plus, Ronald Reagan is your favorite president?! Are you mad?
Isn’t it strange how each of us have very particular ideas on what is most important based on a whole variety of things? I don’t approve of the death penalty but I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about it. If you asked me, I’d vote against it, but I’m not doing anything to oppose it. It’s just not high on my list. I feel more strongly about abortion, but it doesn’t immediately impact me either. Climate change is critical but I don’t see an easy way out. I don’t have a single issue.
We’ve had a weird summer. Relatively cooler temperatures, especially compared to the rest of the country, and unusually low humidity, which is straight up delightfully unexpected in this part of the world. Today is what we like to call “a bit close.” High humidity and no breeze. It’s going to make yard work a little sweaty.
Citizen’s Bank is the naming sponsor of the stadium for the Philadelphia Phillies. By all accounts, they’re a good sponsor. However, the commercials they play CONSTANTLY during games are dumb. I have no idea what the hell they’re talking about. They’re high production value but the message is vague at best. People seem to take the most inopportune moments to speak to a financial advisor, such as walking down a busy city street. That’s where I make my important financial decisions. #Phillies
The main reason I miss Facebook, which is also the reason I left, was the ability to drop a rant that was too long for a “Twitter” post and not structured enough or even worthy of, an essay. I could just rant. I think a lot of people were amused the way people are amused by someone spinning out. “Oh, this ought to be good. He might pop this time.”
