I guess I’m going to upgrade to the iPhone 16 Pro Max when it comes out—solely for the new camera. It’s 48MP, shoots RAW, and will have some new features conducive to shooting portraits. That’s worth the investment, for me. Saves me the trouble of breaking out my Canon 5DMIII. It’s not the same, of course, but it’s gotten pretty damn close for casual family purposes, and it’s already in my pocket. I’ll be curious to try to print a 16x20” from it and see what it can do. #iPhone #Photography

I do not look back on school with any fondness. My grandkids are all about ready to start and they’re mostly all quite excited. I have to remind myself that I’m not supposed to feel bad for them. It’s hard being a kid sometimes, but mostly they’re living the dream. They’re all well cared for and loved. Plus they live at the beach for Christ’s sake. #BackToSchool

For the past few years, I’ve been taking photos of my youngest grandson Theo in the upstairs hallway. Sometimes he’s joined by siblings, but he’s the common thread. I’m going to do it as long as he allows me. He goes to preschool full time this year. Rides the bus and everything.
