The best crafted Alt-text can provide accessibility to visual impaired folks but can at the same time provide explanation for us with eyes. I find one of the best ways to expand your mastodon experience to new voices is to follow hashtags that are not too noisy. This brings into your timeline often someone worth following. Plus you can swap tags in and out to change things up Mine now are #SmallWeb for individual efforts at keeping the web to its original promise/dream and for interesting photographs I might consider #bloomscrolling or #SilentSunday What are useful tags you follow to broaden your streams?
