The continued insistence that there is something Democrats can do to stop Trump that they’re not doing is self-defeating. Sometimes the bad guys just win and there isn’t some magic come-from-behind winning play out there. The chance to stop him was last November. The next meaningful opportunity to place any brakes on him will be in 2026. There is no tactic, strategy, or method that could’ve meaningfully checked a lot of what he’s done.
