The public education system is being taken down and the goal is to replace it with private charter schools for which the government will provide vouchers that pay part of the fees, but not all of them. Can you afford $10k-$25k a year for each one of your kids to go to K-12 school? Rich people can. Better get that 5th job. Al Green went out and did the thing people should actually be doing: confronting Trump and Republicans where they are. So of course they censure him. I can see the blue dogs in tough districts having to do their thing on it, although most voters won’t even know about it.
