Republican lawmakers in Michigan are seeking to completely ban pornography, ASMR, depictions of transgender people, and VPNs. House Bill 4938 would prohibit distribution of material in Michigan that "corrupts the public morals." Platform operators that "knowingly distribute" banned content would potentially face up to 20 years in prison. The Michigan legislature, in which the bill was introduced, is GOP controlled, however the Democratic senate and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will eventually decide whether it is signed in to law. @npub1psar...j5uh's Sam Cole has more.
