I agree with Luigi Daniele: The Israeli leadership is promoting the idea that "Palestinians deserve elimination and are responsible for their own destruction". Voilà a genocidal ideology. Victims of past genocides have all been portrayed as undeserving of existence, their survival as an intolerable threat, and the violence against them as justified. What is utterly shocking is to see this ideology being tolerated and even supported in many Western circles and beyond. Our collective inability to stop the ongoing destruction of the Palestinians, whether due to ineffectiveness, apathy, or cowardice, is shameful - a clear revealer of how past atrocities were possible.
