We're proud to announce a new stable release of Mixxx: version 2.5.2! This version contains updates and fixes for some issues reported by users. We'd like to thank all users for giving feedback as we would like to emphasize once again the importance of testing. Please join our testing-force. This update also contains updates to controller-mappings and improvements in the building procedures. Have a nice #Mixxx.
Accessibility is an area #Mixxx has struggled with for a long time, and as an all-volunteer project we have struggled to recruit devs to address it. If you have a passion for accessibility and are interested in a chance to have a big impact, hit us up.
Mixxx Stable 2.5.1 Released! Thanks to your feedback, this release contains a lot of improvements, fixes, new and improved controller-mappings. We would like to emphasize the importance of testing new versions. You don't have to be a programmer to contribute to Mixxx. Translating, testing new features and checking for possible regression is just as important. It is recommended that all users update to this new version.

Mixxx 2.5 Stable Released As is our Christmas tradition, we have a present under the tree for everyone (even if you don't have a tree!) The biggest change is that #Mixxx is now built for QT6 instead of QT5. While this means leaving certain older operating systems behind, supporting QT6 is an important step in keeping Mixxx relevant on newer operating systems. We also have a bunch of updates to controller configs. Check out the full release notes in our blog post:

edit: we got what we needed! keep a lookout for version 2.4.2 coming soon. original post: We are looking for someone running #macOS to do a "smoke test" for the next version of #Mixxx. Just download, install, and play back a few tracks. As long as you don't immediately find a major issue (crash, computer explodes, unable to play music) then it's a success.
