Currently in that familiar developer frozen mindset where I have a great idea but it’s a big project vs there is a ton of existing stuff that needs improvement. And I end up doing neither. 🥶

Being in NYC for the first time, I’m not sure how anyone affords to live here. It’s really the low end where it hurts most. A sit down meal is maybe 15-20% more than Alabama. But things like toothpaste, soap and other single digit consumable items are almost double. Over the longer term, those will hurt worse because you can’t choose not to buy them like you can with eating out.

I was thinking, and maybe the Index should just be the “claim” mechanism itself for podcasts. Probably no reason to set that up at some other domain. Like claim (dot) podcastindex (dot) org or something like that.
