The amount of mothballed, rug pulled, spun out, rejected by actual humans projects, stacks, protocols, platforms that had low barrier access to "tech" funding, fedi adjacent alone reads like a google graveyard. Devs, possibly oblivious to malice, often very disjointed from the probable use cases, needs and struggles of others reckon they have THE idea "we" need. This gets funding based on speed of code rather than considering communities to engage co-dev for tools we actually want or need. 1/
