Got to spend some quality time with my dad and step-mom yesterday and the kids got to hang out with their grandparents. The last couple days I’ve been nerding out with my newest “midlife crisis” as some people would say making my first actual contacts with other #hamradio operators in #michigan through my cheapo baofeng… and found that the rubber ducky antennas that come with the newer models are better than some of the aftermarket antennas.
