I don't like making future predictions, but I can see this little dude accomplishing big things in surfing. If 10-year-old Avethandwa surfs like this, on his first try at a local reef break, I see a future national champion and maybe even an international one. He's already won a silver medal in the u10 division at the recent regional champs in March 2024, which is the highest level of competition at that age. National champs start with the u12 division. And look at him now. Dropping into solid overhead waves and carving it up.
