In episode 074 of the Illegitimate Scholar podcast, I shared a reinterpretation of Genesis 1-2 as a great flood narrative and suggested that the 7 day period was the period of time over which the aftermath of the pole flip cataclysm went through detente and the Earth sort of calmed back down into a new normal. Noah's flood may very well have been a different flood event entirely from the one in Genesis 1-2. It seems these events happen roughly 4 times per procession of the Earth's axis of rotation so about once every 6,443 years or so. I just read through the Kolbrin's version of the Noah's Ark story and it gave me a validation of this 7 day theory. It validates the idea that the post-cataclysm detente was 7 days. "The swelling waters swept up to the mountain top and filled the valleys. They did not rise like water poured into a bowl, but came in great surging torrents; but when the tumult quietened and the waters became still, they stood no more than three cubits above the Earth. The Destroyer passed away into the fastness of Heaven and the great flood remained seven days, diminishing day by day as the waters drained away to their places." When I say I have "pronoia" and that the Universe is conspiring to give me the puzzle pieces I need, this is what I mean. The Kolbrin is FULL of quotes that validate the perspective my research has already distilled. I'm either onto something or else I have the largest case of confirmation bias ever. Either way, trails are being blazed.
