you can't maintain a control over the multitudes without becoming a master of slop. the nature of mass and scale means that everything will need to be dumbed down and sloppified and turned into WWE. this is the nature of Trump who is the slop king. any situation where /ourguys/ are in control would look like they weren't because their political formula to control the mass would appear to be simplified and crude to the point of being distasteful
