Physicists! A question: Suppose I have a solar panel, sitting in bright sunlight, open circuit (i.e. no load) and I measure its surface temperature. And I note it down. Now, with the same amount of sunlight still landing on the panel, I hook up an MPPT to the it and charge a battery at maximum power point. I measure the panel's surface temperature again after this has been running for a time and note down that reading. Will the energy transfer cause the latter reading to be colder?
