For @Cartoon Movement , I make a top 10 of the best cartoons each year. Not an easy task, given that 11,793 cartoons were submitted to the platform in 2025. This was a great week! I had dinner with a bunch of fun Dutch and international cartoonists, including fellow European Cartoon Award finalists Zehra Γ–meroğlu and Emad Hajjaj (Abu mahjoob). I did a podcast with fellow cartoonists Jip van den Toorn and Hajo de Reijger talking about our profession with the great Stine Jensen (I'll share the link later today for Dutch speakers). And yesterday, during Cartoons Day 2025, I found out I've won the European Cartoon Award 2025! #EuropeanCartoonAward
