I don't do editorial illustrations very often (I really enjoy the visual autonomy of the political cartoon, where the image conveys the entire message without the need for supporting text + there are many excellent illustrators in the Netherlands who can do a better job than me), but here's one about SchrΓΆdinger's cat for the science section of Dutch newspaper Trouw.
Ceasefire. This cartoon is from 2023, and although, unlike in this image, Gaza has been reduced to rubble, the point is still relevant: the cessation of violence does not mean a sustainable peace if nothing changes.
