Holy cow, what an amazing lunch today from an Indian restaurant/grocery only a mile away and we never knew it. I got a “curry combo”. It was a Too Good to Go order through the app on my phone. Restaurants and groceries with delis who offer a “surprise package” for $6.99 instead of full price when they are close to closing for the day. We ate it, splitting 3 ways with extra rice. Very necessary because so much spice! We figured out the fried breaded chicken - which is far better than American fried chicken. Of course we guessed possible lentil soup or sauce. Okra seems to be on left bottom. The other things are a mystery. I believe I discovered in image search that the small round orange thing must be a desert called gulab jalum. No idea anything else. Maybe the white sauce/ soup is fermented yogurt something? Saved Drew and I from burning up too much.
