It came! I'm so excited to read this book! Full disclosure, I am friends with the author, but one of the big reasons I became friends with the author is because I've read her previous academic work on this subject and she's spot on, but to have a full and accessible book is amazing. Myself being someone who has been on the water, working in the "Gates of the Sea" doing migrant rescue in this place, hers is my most respected voice of research on this topic that I've read. The only sad part is I'm out of town and my spouse sent me this picture, so I have to wait another week until I get to read it! Lol Ahhhhh!! I started on the blue dilator for 5 minutes after doing my regular purple. Achieved full depth, but oof. Wouldn't have been as big of a deal if we hadn't needed to mess with my sutures at my appointment yesterday, so it was angry, but I got through it. But also, I'm proud of myself.
