Normalise following nostriches, not ideologies. I have never been one to avoid following accounts on #nostr just because they have a different stance on a thing. Differences are the spice of life, and we don't need to agree on everything to follow one another and enjoy content. :meow_bongo_keyboard: So if you see me following you, it's because we've had some form of engagement that I enjoyed, or you put out an interesting/funny note, or otherwise. It does not necessarily mean I agree with your takes, but it does mean there's a level of respect for who you are. :MEOWDY: Personally I find the idea of only following those who share my ideologies a bit ridiculous: you are setting up your own echo chamber (but if that's what you want to do, that's okay too!)

Probably way more than 1000x more decentralised than X given the outbox model and unknown number of relays out there. The difference is night and day. It's a reflection of the human condition to prefer to wallow in shit like X rather than adopt censorship-resistant technology. The barrier to entry is almost level nowadays, yet the general populace prefer the centralised sewers of X. I think people just like the drama & negativity there (little do they know there's plenty of it here, too!) View quoted note →
Honestly, how many fucking referrals does one need? Feed is being swamped with referralstr links lately. :TheVoices: Maybe I'm missing something.
