For years I avoided reading Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. I wanted to wait for the series to finish before diving in. With book 5 coming this December, I picked up book 1 a few months ago. As of today I'm caught up. I simply couldn't stop reading once I started. YEARS of hype did nothing to prepare me for how good it is. Hands down the best fantasy series I've ever read, but even saying that doesn't do it justice. It's so much more than just another fantasy series. Can't wait for the conclusion to this story. In fact, I'm going to reread all the books closer to December. 😂
