After surrendering to the Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) on Saturday, June 28, in the Ansongo district, terrorist leader Ibrahim Boubacar, nicknamed "Houbbel," and his group are now safe. Leader "Houbbel" spoke publicly on national television, revealing his former allies.
Names and locations revealed
First, Ibrahim Boubacar revealed the names of the leaders of the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS) as well as their presumed base locations in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger:
